The completely renovated office spaces on South Esplanade will open in 2028, as behind the classic façade a modern and skillfully designed building will be revealed — one that honors its history while boldly looking ahead.
The office spaces in Apollo House, built to the highest quality standards, offer nearly 6,000 m² of rentable space — divisible for one or several companies.
Apollo House is designed for companies looking for more than just an address. The spaces represent the finest curation of design — an ensemble where sweeping views, carefully selected materials, the subtle rhythm of natural light, and timeless elegance blend with modern efficiency. The result is a working environment that not only meets expectations, but redefines what a premium-level office can be today.
Enjoy the vibrant pulse of the Esplanade and unwind taking in the sea views from the rooftop terrace. The new rooftop terraces elevate Apollo House to an entirely new level — literally.
Apollo House was completed in 1910, built by K. E. Ståhlberg. In addition to Atelier Apollo, the building housed among others a cinema, a restaurant, and a hotel. Other notable occupants throughout the building’s history include Alko, the General Headquarters, the Ministry of Defence, and most recently the Ministry of Justice.

Apollo House returns to its roots as a hub of encounters, experiences, and urban life — this time offering a stage for the business world. The building awakens to a new era behind its historic façade, with completely renewed spaces.
The top floors of Apollo House are the rarest luxury in Helsinki city centre: a peace that opens up at height, surrounded by the capital’s most iconic landscape. Here, the lush greenery of the Esplanade park strip combines with the city centre’s most magnificent landmarks, extending across Market Square all the way out to the sea.
Apollo's new floor is no hotel floor — it is a collection of private rooms with comfortable armchairs and King Arthur's round tables, silk-veiled lamps, and a wonderful view over the bustle of Runeberg's Esplanade, across the rooftops all the way to St. Nicholas' Church — or, if one seeks refuge from the noise of the street, out over the rooftop terrace, where in the future orangeries and laurels and sun canopies will rise and grow.

The entrance to Apollo is directly from Esplanadi. The prestigious entrance and lobby create a first impression that reflects the quality of the entire building. It is possible to implement a spectacular internal staircase in connection with the lobby, which naturally connects the space to the second floor. It is also possible to place a high-quality conference center on the street level.
The pinnacle of representativeness: a stunning 1,000 square meter space on one level. A spacious floor plan, impressive ceiling height and large windows ensure a bright working environment. Large window surfaces and a skylight open up the view over the park street, bringing greenery, light and the atmosphere of the city into the working environment.
We dare to promise this: the most spectacular rooftop terrace in the city. The top floor of Apollo crowns the whole in a way that hardly needs any further introduction. The views over the city are unparalleled – the space doesn’t get any better than this.
